Sen. Noah Wenger Memorial Highway Dedication Ceremony

The life and service of the late Senator Noah Wenger was recognized at a ceremony dedicating a portion of U.S. Route 222 in Lancaster County in his honor.

I hosted the highway dedication was along with Sen. Scott Martin and members of Wenger’s family.

Wenger served in the General Assembly for 30 years, including 24 years in the state Senate. During his tenure, he was elected to the Senate Republican Leadership Team as Caucus Chairman and later as Appropriations Committee Chairman and played a leading role in creating the state’s highly successful farmland preservation program.
