I hosted my annual Veterans Appreciation Breakfast at the Eden Resort & Suites in Lancaster to honor those in our community who have served our country. Brigadier General John R. Pippy, Pennsylvania’s acting adjutant general and head of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, was the keynote speaker this year. Jennifer Vazquez opened the program by singing a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem. Army Pastor Grover Devault offered an opening prayer before breakfast, and the Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard carried our state and national flags.
